windows 7 pc in network

I purchased a windows 7 pc to replace the old XP pc in my network.

I have now desktop running xp

Laptop wireless running vista

Trednet router
Road runner cable modem


How do i pull out xp computer an replace it with Win7 computer in network.

Do I need to start as if new network ??

On the Windows 7 computer, go to Start-->Control Panel-->Network Setup Wizard, enter the information and be sure that you type the correct Workgroup name. Hopefully that's all you need to do. If you experience problems after doing that, please post back with a description and we'll try to get it worked out.
