windows 7 pro 64 bit / and can't listen to wav files

Tried Creative media source 5 player.
Windows media Center.
Windows media player. Im just hearing a rumble off the subwoofer. same thing with wma files. checked updates. did not find any.

same thing. works fine with xp pro 32 bit.

any ideas?

Download VLC and see if that will play it.

im searching. thanks because i forgot vlc. On the other hand these programs should play. wav is very common. just another job and adventure. i will keep it in mind.
