windows 7 pro issues upgrade

i screwed up this time. i had it working before but i played with every feature there is i think. everything i should not have done. whats happened now is i did a wipe again. this was a upgrade from xp pro.

ive tried installing windows 7 again and goes through then nothing. it never starts. tried wiping with xp pro and goes through the installation and boots to start windows i think then error. problem has been detected and windows needs to shut down to protect hardware i think. never starts. says something about stop: 0x0000000a and more of the same thing.

any ideas..........where to start again.

Have you tried another Hard drive? It could be the RAM.

i had it working. jumped through hoops today working on it. Convinced no issues. low level format and installed xp pro. BUT......i did not take any updates or did not install the drivers from mother board.

tried upgrading goes through the procedure. reboots windows 7 disc and black screen.

could it be it needs the drivers installed from motherboard on xp pro. its the only thing i can think of. and yes i did try low level format then install just windows 7 pro 64. blank screen.

thanks im burned out. i tried 32 bit also. same thing.
