thought i would ask. any thoughts will be appreciated.

dont know why but pretty much always did this. goes into hibernation and sometime does not wake. might take several minutes. other times seems way to long and have to reboot with the power button. then it works fine a few times. what do i have running in startup. Kaspersky internet security and others with same problem. word webpro. thats it. i clean house all the time. dont have a clue what else to check. just a pain. i even did a wipe one time. did not make no diff.
Any thoughts or ideas?

Such problems are usually due to driver issues. Check all your drivers, confirm they are up to date and everything. If you have something like a wifi or RAID/IDE/SATA card, confirm you have the latest drives for whatever the chipset is (normally their newer than what the card manufacture offers.

I also had a problem with this thought it was just the monitor not loading up and just switched sleep/hibernation off in Asus EPU manager. I didn't like the program though so i uninstalled it. I haven't tried windows sleep mode as yet.
