Hello,

So I hate Vista and a coworker just upgraded to 7 ultimate and i gave him some adobe products so he gave me a copy of windows, I just redid my computer today, I selected the option that deletes everything and starts you out with a fresh harddrive. I clicked so it would start as i left for work this morning, i get home from work and its done, so i grab my external so i can start throwing things on the computer, and my harddrive has 60 gbs free which is what it was this morning....why didnt it delete the partition? I have no access to any of the programs and i rebooted to see if it kept it so i would have dual operating systems and nothing...im lost, any suggestions?

thanks!

You can't just leave the computer for the day and expect it to magically know what to do!!

I'd restart over, and pay attention to the options, format your harddrive, and make the partitions you desire as you are sitting there! :)

The whole process doesn't take that long anyhow--just grab a beer--flip on the tv, and check it periodically and it'll be done in no time!
