Windows 7 problem

when i try to install windows 7 on my Dell Optiplex 170L the disc does not boot even when i go to the boot menu (F12) and boot my CD drive. i went to my computer on the start menu and clicked the CD drive icon and it says: Please insert a disc into the drive (something like that)
but it works on other computers
 
installed my windows 7 from a virtual mount.. you can right click on ur disc and save the files to a folder then use a software to mount it and install from there.. thats obviously the hard way but an option.. id recommend getting a dvd drive or taking it to the local computer store
