windows 7 question

i recently purchased this OS http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16832116716

thing i have is a question about it if i install the 32 bit version on this new computer i have together now will i still be able to use the 64 bit version part of it if i choose to install the 64 bit version at a later date? by the way i have 4 gigs of ram so i was wondering if i do 32 bit mode how much ram will show or will it be 3 gigs or 4 gigs that show and when i do 64 bit whats the max that may show? i know my motherboard is the 750i ftw evga and i think it can do up to 8 gigs of memory so i was wondering if 64 bit windows will do that or if 32 bit windows will make my 4 gigs show up with 3 or 4 gigs? ok well thanks hope you can help me and i have both 32 bit and 64 bit dvds of windows 7 home edition
 
You can install the 64 bit version after, but it would be a reinstall, you can't do an upgrade. With the 32 bit version you would get between 3-4GB depending on your exact setup. If you are thinking about going with more RAM I would just install the 64 bit from the start.

Thank You so is it where i would have to reformat it in order to get 64 bit up here or would i just have to put in the other disc to upgrade to 64 bit mode? i think imma stick with 32 bit for now since its really mostly supported

I haven't found anything that was only available for Windows 7 32 bit, everything I have has drivers and software available for both.

And yes, you would need to do a complete reinstall, you can't upgrade.
 
so this means reformat i will be able to use the same copy of windows 7 cuz it has the 32 bit and 64 bit version on two different dvd's i also have another question umm you know that scarface game i hear it doesnt work with windows vista and i have it so i was curious to know if it will work with windows 7 because i really want to play that game or am i going to have to dual boot operating system in order to play that game on xp since it says its compatable with xp and not vista i thought maybe it would have issues with 7 because 7 is prolly entirely different from xp
 
I can't say for sure, but Windows 7 has Windows XP compatibility mode, so it very well may work.
 
Do the 64-bit install it runs the programs alot better. also i have some programs that are 32-bit only, my Windows 7 64-bit runs the programs just fine. the only problem that i have seen is with some adobe flash sites are not 64 bit. so all i have to do is use the 32-bit internet explore which is fine by me... good luck, just remeber as time goes by more and more programs will be made for 64-bit and some 64-bit only.

i got another question now dual boot os i have reinstalled 32 bit xp on my computer but i am thinking about installing windows 7 on here as well so i can dual boot os since i have one game that has to have xp to run it while the other games i could use 7 on the game is scarface the world is yours i tried 7 32 bit and realized taht even in compatibility mode i couldnt run scarface the world is yours so far i made two different partitions on the hard drive so i have a c and d drive on one hard drive but the thing is i want to install windows 7 on the c drive so i can dual boot os and run xp when i want to and windows 7 when neccessary so i could play that game of course any ideas on how i should go about this and how you do a dual boot os?

other then that would i get better performance with games made best for 64 bit systems then i would get with games made for 32 bit systems if i run windows 7 or would it have a slowdown when i run games 32 bit in 64 bit windows?
