Windows 7 Starter-Are these good numbers?

This is a Aspire one D255E Netbook. Using a wireless connection. It's very slow and I want to run the Task Manager numbers by you to see if there is a problem and if so what I should do to correct it.

When I click on Task Manager here is what I get:Physical Memory:1013
Cached: 98
Available:112
Free :19 Do these numbers indicate any problem? Thanks!

If what you have posted is true, then that is not good at all. Having 19 out of 1013 RAM free is bullcrud (censored for the kindness of the forum). I suggest either downgrading to XP, installing Linux or throwing in some more RAM (providing the laptop supports it).

The numbers look fine to me. Having only 1GB of memory on a netbook is still pretty common, and the reason the numbers you posted look like that is because your netbook is currently using the majority of it. I have a netbook with 1GB of memory, it does the same thing, and it works fine. Just don't open a bunch of programs or even tabs at once.

Check how much virtual memory you have allocated, and adjust that as necessary. And don't listen to the guy who posted before me, he has no idea what he's talking about.
