I have to do some survey for a school project
regrading Windows 7. Please answer the following
questions if you have time. Thanks! :D

1)Have you tried Windows 7? If yes, is it better than
the previous Windows? If no, would you like to try it?Why?

2)What are the differences of Windows 7 to the previous versions?

3)What are the advantages and disadvantages of Windows 7?

1:Yes i have windows 7.....Its much better than any previus OS ive used.
2:The differences of Windows 7 to a previous version is just thats its faster...more reliable and features the latest tech such as DX11.
3:Advantages?...everything about imo,It just works....no disadvantages for me yet.

the previous Windows? Its by far the best version of Windows yet, and its the best OS I have ever used.

2)What are the differences of Windows 7 to the previous versions? New taskbar, updated programs, and heavily optimized to run on anything

3)What are the advantages and disadvantages of Windows 7? Everything on Windows 7 is an advantage except for the new task bar, I can see a lot of people getting stuck when it comes to the task bar... Only time can tell

1)Yes have tried it. Yes I think it is better then previous versions.

2)It performs better than Vista but uses a similar interface, I would say it performs as well as XP (if not, better) but the interface is very different.

3)Performs well. It finds and updates drivers for almost everything. Interface can be difficult to get used to if you are upgrading from XP.

4)I have upgraded to 7 on my PC. Would definitely like to upgrade other PC's in the house to 7.

1)I have tried windows 7 beta before it came out.

2)Its more stable than vista for sure.

3)The advantage of windows 7 is more reliable and have not crash yet. Also the advantage is I got windows 7 ultimate signature edition for free from MS. Thanks MS.

1) i have windows 7 and it is better than previous versions

2) It starts a lot faster than vista, and i love the aero snap thingy

1) Not yet. Want to but am waiting until classes are done to install the free upgrade i got with my laptop. (Plus i have a new hdd at home waiting for me so i can backup my files and clean off my disk)

2) Far as i know you can have icons in taskbar instead of rectangles

Debating getting it for the extra RAM utilization I don't get with XP

I would, but money is a factor.

1. I have been using Windows 7 on my desktop since Oct 10th (part of Microsoft Win7 Launch party, and think it's the best OS I HAVE used so far.

2. I will assume you want the difference from Vista. It's much sleekier and faster, the tool bar takes a little getting used to, but I like it.

3. I can't think of any disadvantages other than you have to buy it if you don't currentlyt have a computer with it.

4. I have Win Vista on my laptop and will switch it once CompUSA does another of their $49 Win 7 promotions. I've been lucky with Vista without too many issues.
