Windows 7 upgrade

I built a new computer and put Windows 7 upgrade and I wasn't connected to the Internet but it never ask me for an older OS that I needed to upgrade from. So I'm wondering once I put it on the Internet will it ask me for my old OS?

No it would have asked for previous OS before the install. Was the hard drive blank when you installed? What option did you choose. Upgrade or fresh install?

New blank SSD Drive with a Fresh Install
