Windows 7 x64 No Sound - Realtek Problem

Hello everyone, I just built a brand new computer 1 day old and I'm already having issues. I made a video explaining the problem and uploaded it via youtube. But for those who don't want to watch the video here is the description.

Fresh install of Windows 7 x64 (i have sound with the windows 7 auto detect drivers). I loaded the MSI disk for my MSI Z87-G45 Gaming mobo. After installing the provided driver the sound stops working. The service "Windows Audio" crashes (does not stop, it just has no status). After checking I have 2 drivers installed "Realtek High Definition Audio" and "High Definition Audio Device". I tried uninstalling the "HDAD" the problem persists however when I uninstall the "RHDA" I get sound back. (*Note* while the problem persists, and I restart the service. If I open the playback settings and choose the option "Test" on the detected speakers the service stops and I lose all available playback/recording components).

To save you the time I have already looked in the bios (Click Bios 4) and I do not have a Realtek option under my advanced settings.

Please help. This is feeling like a waste of money.

Try going on MSI's website and download the latest drivers from there. The ones on the disc are likely old and buggy.

Download the latest audio drivers from MSI, then uninstall your existing audio drivers by using the Device Manager, and then install the new drivers.

Or if the sound was working before, right click on your audio drivers in Device Manager and see if the option to 'roll back' the driver is there (basically put the previous version back on).

Make sure you are connected to the right port. The other high definition audio device is the hdmi port on the video card or possibly on the motherboard. Make sure the sound output is selected correctly.
