I am trying to make the back ground on my desk top black. It seems all there are, is a selection of themes. Is there a work around for this??

Open up MS paint, make a black picture, save to wherever you want, right click on it and set as desktop background.

Follow these steps to do it quickly:
1. Right click on desktop and click "personalize"
2. Below all of the themes click "desktop background"
3. At the top menu where it says picture location choose solid color.
4. Select a solid color below
