Windows 8 and accessing App Data Roaming file.

Hi I just got a new laptop with windows 8. I am trying to download a software but the following error message showed up
error 1311 source file not found
c\users\user\appdata\roaming\cyberlink\power2g\8.0\temp....
verify that the file exists and that you can access it.

Now I found that the file does exist it is just not in the user file. How can I move this file so I can download like I use to with good old windows 7? :(

It's possible that your installation media is bad and you need new. How old is this install of windows?
