Windows 8 Drivers

Hey everybody I just upgraded from Windows 7 HP to Windows 8 Pro, and was wondering how I download the specific drivers for Windows 8. For example, my fingerprint scanner doesn't work anymore, and I don't know how to download the right drivers for it.

My laptop is an HP m6-1035dx. Also my laptop had the option to disable the touchpad in Windows 7, but that doesn't work anymore either.

Can somebody tell me how to fix it myself instead of just providing a link? Just in case I encounter something like it in the future. Thanks!
 
Thank you! I got the ones that I knew needed new drivers, but I'm not sure about all of them. I tried to use the "Scan now" Button but it didn't ever work. Hopefully I did not miss anything important.
