Windows 98SE Log In Prompt

I hate the windows 98SE log in prompt. It slows start-up down, and you can just cancel through it and still access all my personal data! Is there anyway to stop the log on prompt from comming up, so the computer will realise that i only have one user account, so starting up is quicker?
