Is MS Windows AntiSpyware an AntVirus which detects all kinds of viruses?

It's not an Anti Virus, as the name says, it's an AntiSpyware.

not really. it will do the full job, but just to the extent of its capabilities.

meaning, it will do its full job of detecting spywares, but not antiviruses. antiviruses is not what it was meant to detect, so in neither shape nor form will it be able to detect it. so its job is not antispyware & antivirus where it is only doing half its job, but just an antispyware where it is fully capable of doing the whole job. and its quite good also.
