Windows CD writing wizard does'nt work

I'm having trouble copying files to a cd when using the Windows cd writing wizard. I'm using XP SP2 and as soon as I try to copy I get a message saying can't copy to cd please place a cd in drive. I'm using new cd's and have tried everything I can think of but nothing works. Any ideas?

Update the drivers on your burner. Go into Device manager and remove the old driver first. Restart. Then go in and put an updated driver in it.

I don't use the wizard. Just click and drag stuff to your D drive or whatever your burner is labeled. Then go to D drive and it will tell you that there is stuff waiting to be burned. Click Okay and off ya go.
