Windows could not start becuas...Help

Hi, I have a Laptop

This is the screen I get when i start up the computer. I press any button and it brings be back to the start up screen which is this.

These are the only 2 screens i can get pressing R does not work it just brings me back to the First picture i put up. Could this be i need to replace the hard Drive? Thanks for your help

i dont think that you have to replace the hd, i think that you might have to completely reformat it tho

Do you have a windows disk?
You need the disk to do a repair.

can you get into the bios at all to boot from the os disc?

I cant get into bios.
I used the Disk and it did nothing. It acted as if it were not reading it. I could hear a clicking coming from the drive.

i know that it has happened to me , but i usually just put the xp cd in and then press R and you go through some other optiions and it re writes what it needs to

any idea of why the Drive wouldnt be picking up this CD?

Because the HDD is the first boot priority?

Run Memtest86. I have incountered many missing files due to bad/damaged memory.

So should I be getting a new HD? Or just be best to get a new Computer?
