When I try to install the update, it gives me an error

can anyone help me out?
Is this being seen on Vista? Personally I would like to see the WD program as an option you can easily remove! So far I haven't run into the error messages quite yet here. But there are freewares like Ad-Adware SE Personal and Spyware Terminator that will do a far better job. The error message is the "install failure" code 0x80070643

One method to get around this type of auto update problem is to turn that off in the securoty section settings menu and pay a regular visit directly to the Windows update site. There you can choose the "custom" rather then express option for selecting the ones you want. That error is one that lacks any good information on while being seen most in XP on MS products.
