I have been having problems with both of my WD 500Gb hdd's since I swapped eveything into a new case. (CM Storm Scout)
One is already being sent back since it is not spinning.
Now this one is flagging an error message with windows.
The clips that hold the HDD in the case take some effort then snap into place. Could this have damaged both my hdd's. Within two weeks both of these drives have been acting up after installing in this new case. I know these drives are fragile but dang it this is annoying.
Are smaller drives more reliable than a larger capacity??
Thinking about getting the 1tb wd black hdd.
