I have wanted to change the motherboard in my computer, because the old one only had 4xagp slot and i didnt want to limit my 8xagp video card.I put the cpu,ram into the new motherboard, connected the hard drive, optical drives, psu correctly. The whole thing only took about 25 minutes. But when i turned the system on,the windows xp pro stoped loading after a half second and started from the very begining, from the computer's boot up screen. It did it again and again,no mather how many times i tried.
Can anyone please help me with this?
I have never changed motherboard before, so i dont know if i have to reinstall the windows to the hard drive every time i change motherboards, or am i just doing something wrong?
I even changed the hard drive to a different one, what also has windows on it,but that one stopped loading the windows after a couple second too.
So i totally dont know what to do now!
Please,if anyone knows how to fix this, please help me.Thank YOU!

Time for a repair install and installation of the board drivers. http://www.michaelstevenstech.com/XPrepairinstall.htm gives detailed instructions for this. The board drivers are installed after Windows is running. Sometimes you have to choose the option to delete the current installation of Windows. XP takes a snapshot of the hardware environment and installs according to that mainly. A repair install would avoid wiping the drive that is sometimes required when deleting the current Windows installation.

Thank YOU for the super quick help. I will try to fix the problem with the help of the website you gave me. Thank YOU!
