windows emulator for mac os 9 or 7

I have various PCs an dI have a mac laptop and I wanted to know if there was some sort of Windows emulator avalable for such an old version of mac os.
It is so I can program Visual Basic and play DOOM1 on my weekly 3 hour bus ride.
