Listen! I’m a dork when it comes to computers. So her it goes.

Is there, out in the wild wild web, a “windows emulator”?
Some thing that makes it possible to play games that require 95 or 98 without having to delete XP?

How does it work? And where can I find it?

yes there is next, time i go to work ill ask my boss what its called, but its pretty cool, it runs right over XP

Or....use the windows compatability wizard. Start > Programs > Accessories > Program Compatability Wizard. This is what i used to get Virtual Springfield Working

Hmmm

You can also try tu run the game in the Windows 95/98 etc. compatibilty mode. Its found in the properties of .exe or other executable files.

JAN :D

I am not sure if this is what you are looking for, but you might want to look at reactos.
It is a windows emulator. Early in development, but claims to be able to run Unreal Tournament, Quake 1, Deus Ex, and OpenTTD.

how about the Program Compatibility Wizard ? It comest with your computer. Start>All Programs>Accessories>Program Compatibility Wizard

If that doesn't work, you might want to make a drive partition with FAT32 and put your games on that. The NTFS filesystem on your computer is too "new" for the games. You might also want to get a portable hard drive, or USB key. They come in the FAT file system, so that would work. Hope that works for you. If it doesn't, PM me, or add a post to this topic. I'll be watching it.
