Window's exlore has replaced backslashes with W's with line though it ..help plz

Hey you've prob seen this before ..

windows has seemed to replaced all slashes with a W with a line through it

for examle it looks like this

C:WProgram FilesWAdobe

but the W's have a line thought it ... i've tryed doing updates and i've tryed googleing it but not much help ..

and when i press the \ key it comes u with it as well .. its only for like my folders .. no where else .. and if i copy and paste it it comese up with \ else where ..
 
Can you give us a screen shot of it? Have you tried system restore or run virus scan? You should post a hijackthis log in the security section. Gamemaster should be able to help you out. He is very good with hijack logs.
