Recently, my computer restarts windows explorer repeatedly and never stops, and I cant access system restore. is there another way i can access system restore besides through windows explorer?
Your system may have been infected with some type of malware. If a virus got onto your system it is usually recommended to clear all restore points by temporarily turning off the restore feature. The advice here would be to run a virus scan/trojan scan on your system before using the manual restore method when booting to the safe mode command prompt only option found in the F8 start menu when starting the system. There you enter the command
"%systemroot%\system32\restore\rstrui.exe" at the prompt and press enter.
