Windows Help and Support Centre

First off I am running windows xp pro sp3.

When I click on Windows help and support centre nothing happens.
The start menu closes and an hour glass appears for 5 seconds and my icons refresh and that is all.

The problem started after I got a malware or adware infection. I've removed the threat since. I got the malware when I was trying to get a windows theme.
May that be a lesson to us all. I scanned every other theme but this one. DAMN.

I've already tried reinstalling help and support centre by right clicking C:\Windows\inf\pchealth.inf and clicking install. Then I loaded it off my windows install disk.

Sounds like you're still infected.

Please download and run Malwarebytes and Hijack this. post the logs in the security section and someone will analyze them for you.

Thank you very much dude.
I was too lazy to do any scanning. I already have malware bytes.
Maybe I'll scan the comp and find it and it will go away. if it doesn't I'll post my log.

Thanks again.

Malware is gone. Problem remains. Forget about it.

How bout just helping me figure out how to boot from my windows install disc.
