what would happen tom my computer if i deleted my C:\WINDOWS\inf file... or deleted its contents..??? I was wondering... because i am having a preoblem with that whole folder... if you read my other posts then u may understand... most of my errors are located in that folder... is there any where i could get the default files contained in there to overwrite my own???

Well with no help from ne one here... i took a chance and deleted the files... surprisingly deleting the files fixed my computer... and i havn't seen ne problems from doing so. I just wanted to note... i posted this topic a while ago and i only got one response... i just wanted to let u al know... just how helpfull this site really is... thnx for the help... and just to let u know... that was sarcasm. but i doubt any one will read this message ne ways so who cares..
