hi, me and my friend are trying to play a game over windows live messenger, but they keep getting the message

MESSENGER GAMES REQUIRE ACTIVE X OBJECTS IN ORDER TO PLAY. PLEASE VERIFY THAT YOU HAVE THE ABILITY TO INSTALL ACTIVE X OBJECTS ON THIS MACHINE AND RELAUNCH YOUR GAME.

i dont quite get what this means, is there something i need to download or something :S ?
 
You more-or-less need to make sure that your computer can download and install active X controllers. This is basically a small application usually installed through a pop-up window. You might check that your pop-up killer hasn't kept it from installing. Usually you will get a message that asks if you want to install some software. You would want to install this software.
