windows mail for win 7?

On earlier issues of windows I was able to use features from one version, say win 95, and put them on later versions. I'm wondering if anyone has tried installing outlook express or windows mail from XP or Vista, onto a windows 7 installation? I'm presently using evolution mail from open source and it works fine but some features are not exactly seamless.

Windows Mail does exist in Windows 7. It just doesnt work. You have to do a hack to get it working. The following site should help if you want to butcher your system.
