Windows media 11

Hi

Can any one help me with Windows media player.

I have been using version 11 in XP for ages with no problems.
I recently had to reformat my computer and When I reinstalled 11 I could no longer Burn cds from the player as before. It is not my burner because I can still burn cds from other media players.
If anyone has any ideas I would like to hear them.

I am also having problems with Windows media player 11. I had to re-install XP Pro on my daughter's computer this last weekend and I have the exact same problem. It won't burn CDs either. I tried to input all her saved music and it would not accept half of it. She used it before the re-install just fine, everything worked perfect.

I think the new updates are junk
