hey guys...this isnt really a problem, just is sorta annoying...when i close my wmp DURING watching something, the sound in the file still plays...like even though it is all closed and stuff, the sound still goes...im guessing this is a simple setting i have to flick somewhere but i really cant figure it out

Does the sound keep on going until it's finished or does it just keep going for a few seconds? I have a problem similar to that but it only happens when watching something on youtube.

The only thing I can guess is you may be slowed down by backround processes, but it doesn't seem likely.

How long does the sound go on for?

My guess is that it goes for a few seconds. This happens occasionaly to me when im running a few other apps, and it sorta freezes when i close it. I think its because the process hasnt actually completely closed yet.

Hello. If I would you unstall it and reinstall it again. I tried it with my IE and it work, before my IE wont browse picture, but now it can. So I suggest you do the same thing with window's media player 10. Here is the instructions on how to solve your problem. Follow my steps and it should work, restart your computer after you do it and try it again.

Step 1: Go to start.
Step 2: Go to Control Panel.
Step 3: Go Add and Remove program.
Step 4: Look on your left hand side and you will see 4 items.
Step 5: Click on Add and Remove program Windows Components.
Step 6: Please wait
Step 7: uncheck window's media player.
Step 8: Restart your computer.
Step 9: Do the same step again.
Step 10: Check the window's media player
Step 11 & 12: Click on next and then finish.

These step shouldn't be so hard to find out. Read it one step at a time.

Raditz.

its not just a few seconds or anything like that, the entire video finishes...i really dont think it will be a bug in the program, cuz when i open wmp again from the start menu, the actual video (not audio) is still going along, like it was open the entire time...u guys sure this isnt just a setting somewhere?
