Hey Guys,

I have a problem.

I'm trying to play music that has a licence in WMP 11. It is in WMA and won't play in anything else.

I get this:

I download it and install it, run the active X, and then it still comes up.

What else do i need to do???

I'm running Vista Home Premium 32 bit.

Thanks,

Cohen

Didn't you read the message? The file is protected, you need to get a license to be able to play it. Maybe other players may work with protected files without licenses, but not WMP.

I know it has a licence, i have downloaded what it said, but still won't work.

and because it is protected it won't play in any other play....

Where did you get the song from?
I made a cd copy when I had XP and now Vista doesnt let me play them.
The only way is to delete them and copy them back from cd./download them again.

i bought it online.

Isn't the licensing compatible with vista??? or at least the song one....
