you know ive been having that same problem lately too.... with me i found out that every time the music skips my whole system lags a little bit... does your whole system lag whenever the msuic lags?

It's normally when I'm doing something, ie: running numerous programs.

what does is skip whole mp3's? or just parts? if its just parts it sounds like your computers slow. what happens when you use a different player like itunes?
