Windows Media Player Volume

Heya!

I got a little problem -- the sound in windows medi player

When I listen to a track with say the volume at 50%, it will work fine. Press stop/pause, then play, and the volume stays the same

The problem is when I want to jump to a certain location in the song using the slide bar. As soon as I do that, windows bumps the audio level up to 100%. this is no good since i have roommates and it often scares the hell out of myself

Just wondering if anyone knows a solution to this pesky little annoyance.

Thank you!

EDIT: Just wanted to add, the volume slider in WMP doesn't shift at all when I slide the music/video location -- it's like a different voume controller changes and not the WMP one.

I have the same problem and reinstalling WMP 10 doesnt work. And I have used winamp before, I liked it. Still doesnt solve the problem though.

Ur choices r:

1. Reinstall WMP

2. Download WMP 10

3. Uninstall WMP and Install Winamp

4. Change 2 other media players

5. Put up and Shut up
