Windows media player

My windows media player keeps pausing every few seconds.....its not buffering or anything, because its not being streamed, and it does it with every video. Ive tried downloading windows media player again but it doesnt work still.

any idea what i should do?

It also happens on real player

and i have no working soundcard as well if that makes a difference

Hmmm

Have you tried reinstalling the keyboard driver (if any). Some keyboards have media functions which could not be working properly. I have come across a simmilar problem and removing the device from the device manager fixed it.
