Windows media player

I have a problem when i installed the latest version of Windows media player. When I use mozilla firefox and there is a video that plays in windows media player the older version of windows media player loads up and sometimes it plays the video and sometimes it dosent. My question is how do you configure the new version of windows media player to be recognized by mozilla firefox to play my video ?

i believe if you uninstall the older version the enxt time you run a video it will ask you what program to play it in and you can jsut select Windows Media Player 10

I would try to uninstall WMP 10 and see if that works if not i would reinstall the firefox WMP plugin.
