Windows Mobile 6.5 problem with shorcut widgets bar

I have a Samsung Omnia i8000 smarphone with Windows Mobile 6.5
After installing more applications the the horizontal widget quick launch bar developed a problem. It worked apart from the fact I could not add any apps/widgets to the bar although I can still remove any present. I used SPB Backup to restore the phone to an earlier time with full restore. The problem resolved now started installing apps again. The same shortcut widget bar problem occurs again. This mean with any apps I install the glitch occurs. The error message is ShorcutWidget.exe has a problem. To resolove the problem what file or files do I need to restore from known good restore point using SPB Backup and where are they located in the operating system? I want to do this without affecting the apps I installed on the smartphone. So far unsuccessful in installing any apps without this error occuring. Thanks for any feedback.

I first installed Pocket Mechanic Professional for Omnia II GT-i8000. This has some great tools including file system cleanup and registry checker. It did not repair the Samsung Shorcut Widget Bar where I could not add widgets.

I installed SPB Mobile Shell 3.5 What a great interface and plus I can now use widgets within the interface and add them or edit. I first restored the phone to a post factory point using SPB Backup. This does solve the widget problem which however reoccures when apps are then installed.

SPB Mobile Shell 3.5 is the solution for Samsung Omina II GT-i8000 with Windows Mobile 6.5 It is a great interface to use. Makes the phone better than when new!

SPB Mobile Shell 3.5 for Ominia II GT- i8000 with Windows Mobile 6.5. This SPB software is a must as sorts out the widgets problem allowing them to be added and edited on display.

SPB Mobile Shell is another way of editing widgets

SPB Mobile Shell enables you to add, delete and edit widgets on display. It means there is no need for the Samsung Shortcut Widget Bar. It does not obviously repair this where it is errored unable to add widgets to it. Further more recently run widgets are displayed in the SPB Mobile Shell to enable quick launch meaning there is truly no need for Samsung's Shorcut Widget Bar anymore on the Today screen.
