Hi. I've been trying to create a short video for a school project, which contains video clips downloaded from Youtube. I downloaded them as .flv files, then got a program to convert them to .avi so I could use them in Movie Maker.
Now when I'm done and want to publish the file, however, it gets to about 66% and then says something corresponding to "Windows cannot save the movie to the specified location". Then it asks me to make sure the source files are still intact and in the right place. They are. This makes it impossible for me to publish the file and complete my project. Any help will be highly appreciated. A google search gave me nothing, all problems regarding this issue seem to be unique.
Also, most of the time, Movie Maker won't even open up when I double-click the program or a project. This is rather annoying as well.
I use Movie Maker 2.6 on a Windows 7 laptop. I like it a lot better than the new Windows Live Movie Maker, where they've changed pretty much everything.
