My girlfriend made a slideshow of family pictures for her parents during Christmas but we ended up not being able to burn it to a DVD because the file was so enormous (the show was about 40 minutes plus music) so for christmas we ended up playing it off of the computer to the TV to show them.
Now everyone wants a copy of the video so I thought of the idea to set up my video camera and shoot the video playing off of my LCD monitor and then put it back into movie maker to burn as a dvd (since file size would be a lot smaller)
My Camera is the Canon Zr80 miniDV camcorder and I bought a freaking expensive Ieee 4pin to 6 pin connector to run the camera to my computer via firewire. First off, if this camera going to work? And next, how do i put the captured video back to my computer?
