Windows movie maker

The video editing software I normally use (jahsaka) is not working so I thought I'd try using windows movie maker for the time being but when I use it, it says I have so transitions and no effects except for slow mo and 2x speed. The problem is That I know it has more features then just this I tried to re-install but I can't find a download for it.

anyone know a way I could get the features there are on my friend's copy of windows movie maker that are not one mine (eg old looking effect and some transitions)

Here it is, it's not v2.1, it's v2. Is Jashaka very good? I was thinking of using it, but the screen shots didn't look to good.

Maybe I'll go try it out. I've been looking for some good video editing software. I've been using Power Director Express and I like it a lot, but it doesn't have everthing I want.

Are you saying that you have no transitions or effects when you installed the on that I linked to?
