i have a problem. i used a usb pen drive on my computer and ever since i removed it from the pc, this enoying error msg "windows-no disk" keeps popping up after a couple of minutes, and every time i restart my computer. also, my floppy drive keeps making a sound every few seconds, as if it's trying to load a disk.

does anyone have ha solution for this?

thanks!!!

Use "Safely Remove Hardware" before removing the pen drive.

It may work.

yep, i did that. i'll take that as a prevention for next time. the thing is what can i do now to remove the error?

any ideas?

You could try going into your BIOS and disabling "Removable Drives" from
the Boot menu. That may eliminate Windows from trying to read from a
removable disk at startup.

Also you can check your Programs, Startup folder to see if there's anything
in there causing it.

And, click Start, Run, then type msconfig. Look at the startup tab and see
if there's anything there that may be causing this. If you change the msconfig
and click Apply, you'll be asked to restart the computer. When the pc reboots,
a box pops up stating that you've changed it. Check the box that says:
"Do not show me this message again".
