Windows Photo Viewer Discoloration.

I recently installed an Update as part of windows update for my Monitor which is an AOC 20Inch Flat Panel. In the last couple of minutes Ive been accessing my saved Camera images and they are displaying in a Yellow sort of Tint and the White blocks either side are also affected. Does anyone know if its the driver thats casued this problem or If i can sort it out? AOC International (Europe) GmbH - Display - AOC 2036 :eek:

Try the card on a different computer/monitor. In my experience, usually that's pictures that have been corrupted when you get that...
 
why don`t you roll back or just uninstall the update, can`t do any harm if it doesn`t cure it just reinstall it and then try another screen as advised above
 
well I did the following:


1. Control Panel->Hardware and Sound->Color Management

2. Select your display device

3. Check the box “Use my setting for this device”

4. Click Add

5. Choose “sRGB IEC61966-2.1” (this is the color profile that IE is using)

6. Set it as default.


That seems to have worked, but what I cant work out is how it started in the first place, i'll try rolling back, but can you tell me how? thanks!
 
go to, computer, system properties, device manager, and you should find it under monitors if it is actually a driver for the monitor
 
no better not that will totally uninstall the driver, is the roll back button not active ?

If not and your settings adjustment has fixed it best leave it, if it`s not broke don`t fix it :)
