so, I have been experimenting with overclocking and broke the "do it slowly" rule. I OC'd to an unstable 2.47 Ghz. I was able to log into windows, but my display was giving me bad icon images (like when the cable goes out). I rebooted and got "a corrupted registry has successfully been repaired". I logged in and it rebooted. It does this every time. I was unable to do a repair install (I'm going to try another xp cd I have). In the mean time I am installing xp on my slave so I can at least back up important data. Any sugguestians would be appreciated.

Well, here's an update:

I did a repair install with my other XP CD and I now get a BSoD after the boot screen. I successfully got XP to install on my slave. I am just going to back up what I can and deal with it.

I'm an idiot.
