Hello I will be upgradeing the harddrive in my parents computer. So then I will be reinstalling windows XP Home edition. The problem is that I have used up the number of times i can use the product key, because I used the same disk and key to install it on other computers so that I could see what the hardware names were. It says to call them though I dont want to have them say I need to buy a new windows disk for $130 blah blah blah my dad will kill me. Will they renew the key or something? Also for Microsoft Office before I purge the old harddrive If I uninstall Microsoft Office XP will it send info to microsoft that I uninstalled it. There for I shall have no problems reinstalling that? Or do I need to call on that too. Please let me know thanks!
