Hey everybody, right now i have windows xp home on my hard drive already activated. I have another hard drive that I want to set up in raid 0 with the current one. that would mean that i would have to completely clear out the current hard drive. When i reinstall windows on the raid configuration, would it let me enter register/activate it considering i already did on the current hard drive configuration?
If the answer is no, meaning i would be in the posisition of having to buy a new xp registration code, is it possible that i can save everything on the current hard drive to an external hard drive to that once i get the raid up and running, i would be able to run windows from the external hdd(i can take the physical hdd out to use an ide cable) and then copy windows back onto the raid setup?
