I was recently forced to reinstall windows, and I didnt want to format so I chose to overwrite the original folder.
I have important files on my pc i'm treyna move over to my external hdd, But I can not find any of the files that were present on my desktop anymore. A windows search pulls only recent files up. I've tried going to c- documents and settings, to find the user name folder but its not there. I know the files still exist because a large portion of my hdd space is still occupied by the files that were there b4 the reinstall.
Any ideas?
