Windows security (center) is slowing my computer down, how do I shut it down?

....Recently my computer crashed and I've had to reboot and start again from factory settings. The computer seems to be working slower, and I can't access ebay and other sites, so I think windows security center is slowing down my PC, how do I shut this down???

exactly how did ou come to the conclusion that the problem is security center? your problem could be hardware or malware.

anyway to shut off security center go into control panel, security center, and change the alerts
