Windows Seven Ultimate 32 Bit No aero

Hi, I just installed windows seven ultimate but i dont get aero...
Specs
3.06 GHz Processor
3 GB RAM
128 MB On board video (I Fried My video card :D)
I thought it might be a video card issue but i swiped an Nvidia 512 MB card out of another computer and AERO still didnt work... Please help... :eek:

Wow how the hell did you do that lol? XD

Anyway,find the newest drivers for that video card,install them and then restart the computer.After that you might also need to enable aero in Windows 7 by choosing one of the available AERO themes.

I found this one but it says windows 2000 and windows xp will it work on seven?

Let's just say that it wasnt a very good intense gaming card... poped a couple of caps
 
The Driver should be labeled WDDM to offer Aero. If the Manufacture doesn't offer a good Driver, maybe MS update will have one.

A new cheap Vid card that is 7 compatible is another way to go.
 
the only thing listed on intel for 910/915 was that Chipset driver. Try it just to see, as I have seen the chipset have teh video in it.
 
I tried the intel driver update software and it doesnt seem to work... any reccomendations for a video card that will work with my mobo?
 
You would need at least a 945 integrated chipset to run aero, you only have the 915. And since your motherboard doesn't have a dedicated video slot besides a PCI slot, you would need a new motherboard.
