Windows shell integration (?)

I don't know if I titled this effectively or if it's been posted before; I'm not really sure what I'm asking and I only know it by what WinRAR calls it.

Here's my problem:

The highlighted option is some junk that came with my copy of Windows (Vista Home Premium). The program it wants to use no longer exists and its file type isn't recognized by Windows. I'd like to know how to remove it, and it'd be nice to remove some of the other things there as well.

Does anyone know if this can be done through a simple user interface?

Okay great, I installed the prog and looked at it briefly; I'm sure I'll be able to figure it out from here in the morning. Thanks for the help.

It may not work, looking at it closer it's for other extensions. The New thing is generated in an evil way.

Do you know what the file extension was for that program? If not it hopefully doesn't matter, just click it and it should make a file with the extension. Once you know what it is, open regedit and navigate to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.<extension> and expand it. Delete the ShellNew key and it will be gone.

If it doesn't work, try going into the registry (Start - Run - type regedit then press enter) and see if you find and entry for it in this location.
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\*\ShellEx\ContextMenuHandlers

If so, then right click on the key (folder you want to delete) and choose export. You can export it to the desktop.
Now go and delete that key/folder in the registry.

If you decide you want things like they were, then on the desktop, right click on the .reg file that you exported and choose "merge" to put it back into the registry.

This is what that registry location looks like.

Yeah, the program wasn't cooperating with me very well. I also tried Hobbyist's suggestion, which didn't work out for me (probably my own fault). Here's what I found by matching up the extension:

I'm scared of playing with Vista's registry, so just to clarify, can I safely delete the entire .BJF folder?

Thanks again.

I should have told you to export the key before you delete anything. Luckily you haven't done anything yet and it's easily fixable even if you don't export it :)

You only have to delete the ShellNew part not the whole .BJF key. It's safe, all it will do is remove the thing when you right click and go to new.
