I am using the Asus A8N Sli-deluxe board with AMD 3400+ and windows xp pro. In the Bios, there is an option for automatic Over clock, to a certian percentage, 3%, 5, 10, etc.)

In the system properties, it displays my cpu properly as amd 3400+ and the correct speed when not Overclocked. However, I adjusted the overclock preference to 5%, which should make it 5% faster correct?
But the sytem properties displays the speed as:
Computer
AMD Athlon(tm) 64 Processor
3400+
1.0GHz 1.00 GB of RAM
Physical Address Extension

What is weird. But as long as the bios boot at startup shows that its 5% overclocked I wouldnt worry, (unles syour DOWNCLOCKED the cpu)

To post above ^

On all of my cmoputers, when overclocked, system properties shows the speed perfectly. It may just be his computer
